Previously known for leading the Hufflepuff Quidditch Team to three successive Quidditch Cup victories and Hufflepuff to their first victory in the House Cup for twenty-five years, she is now known as being the saviour of the school after returning working through the wards of Hogwarts to let the students escape after an intruder caused them all to become trapped. Somewhat mellowed now, she is still renowned for being a brilliant but dangerous witch, she is currently the youngest Commander in a world-wide military operation known as ARKITEKT.

History
Edit
Born to a pureblood father, whose brother is a certain Mundungus Fletcher, and a Muggle mother, Claire (aka SC) was brought up in both communities. She first showed magical ability at the age of two, when she levitiated her teddy bear away from a candle that was about to set it on fire. Since then, her father started to teach her magic. With his family being neutral in the war, he taught her both dark and light magics and many things that he felt could one day save her life - her grandfather extended this to even darker magics, despite being determined to let her choose her own path.
Naturally talented in Battle, and with a good mind for tactics, Claire spent many of her days as a youth training for what she saw as the inevitable - a final battle, where she would one day have to chooe a side to fight on. However, happy to declare neutral for the time being, she spent many a days helping her Uncle Dung in Knockturn Alley.Unfortunately, her mother didn't approve and tried to cut off their contact, but soon gave up whenever neither the letters nor visits stopped and she nearly broke her arm jumping out the window.
At the age of eleven she finally came to Hogwarts and was sorted into Hufflepuff for her intense loyalty, although the Hat was torn between this and Slytherin (into which many felt she'd be more suited for her cunning and brilliant mind) - even to the time she'd left, she held both the record for the longest time spent being sorted and the person most viewed as being placed in the wrong house. She never cared for the house divides, however, and was quite happy to judge someone by character alone.
Most of her days were spent in the Library, learning what she could, or outside playing Quidditch, even being made Quidditch captain in her fifth year. She played as a beater, and despite her not-so-bulky frame had one heck of a hit, an unnatural strength. She led the Hufflepuff team to three years of Quidditch Cup victories in a row, with one a contentious win after the snitch landed in the hood of the Hufflepuff Seeker - Ravenclaws, their competitiors in the game, have never let this rest.
She also, upon coming to Hogwarts, started to take to pranking. Needless to say, since then, she caused devastation in her wake, and by the end of her fifth year surpassed the record number of detentions given to any student in the history of the school, yet despite this was also a Prefect.. Some of her most famous pranks include making the whole school a musical, turning McGonagall into an Oompah Loompah and changing Snape into an upbeat, motivational coach who gave out sweets. However, it was also widely known that one of SC's best friends, Nic Moony, had an eery ability to walk into many pranks SC had set up and never took this apparent victimisation well. SC would, in her fifth year, find a partner in crime in Anyamarie Valdez, who together formed the modern day Marauders, SC pranking with spells, Anya with potions. The two would remain inseparable until the kidnapping.
Her parents would never approve of her pranking nor the many letters they received about her and were always skeptical about her Quidditch dreams. They put her under pressure to get a good job, to work hard (so far so that SC was forced to sit Muggle exams as well as Wizarding ones at her mother's insistence) and the strain was always very clear, but she never liked to talk about it.
Her weekends at Hogwarts were mostly spent pranking, planning pranks, working in Chase's Place as a barmaid, hanging out with her friends. She is, obviously, loyal (as her house states), however, she is also rather bright and achieved straight O's in her OWLs (bar for an E in History of Magic which she was very proud of). Bright, though, would be a slightly understatement - she is, quite simply, brilliant. In her NEWTs (which she took just before leaving) she achieved the highest score in a decade in Charms and Ancient Runes. Her other exams were as equally well done - although this could be attributed to her new dedication to her work, brought about by her kidnapping, as will be explained later. She would always claim that the links that the insanity in her mind made allowed her to jump from the great to the extraordinary.
Her kidnapping by Death Eaters (which she believed included Anyamarie Valdez, her partner in crime) came about around Christmas of the Seventh Year at Hogwarts. Anya, who had been forced to return home from the school, tried to escape the influence of her father and escaped the Valdez mansion. However, she apparated to an area near SC's house and ran into the girl, resulting in SC's capture.
When there, SC was trapped in the house before Anyamarie gave her a poison which would make mentally torture her but make her forget about it - however, she forgot SC was allergic to one of the key ingredients, powdered asphodel, and she suffered a severe allergic reaction which would stay with her for many months after the kidnapping. After managing to break out, still under the influence of the potion and after killing several Death Eaters to do so, SC returned to Hogwarts after a lengthy absence, scarred by torture and the betrayal of her best friend, driven insane by the potion and always seeing things that weren't there. She returned to a school who expected her to be the same old SC she could never again be. This was backed up by the news that SC was not a reliable witness in the case against former friend Anya, hence the girl was never prosecuted as a Death Eater. The Daily Prophet openly backed SC in the case and demanded Anya's sentencing to prison, but this was never taken up by the Ministry, who simply saw SC as 'that crazy girl'.
These two combined and made SC planned to leave the Wizarding World for good after school had finished - however, after finding out one of her best friends, Angelina Black, had the dark mark, she fled early and vowed never to return, instead finding her calling with a top-secret military operation named ARKITEKT, becoming one of their Commanders and travelling around the world, burying herself in its work, keeping in contact only with Hogwarts Caretaker Jack Callaghan and cousin Jacob MacLeish.
However, after half a year or more, she couldn't resist the urge to see another one of her friends, Nic Moony, who was working in Egypt as a trainee curse-breaker. After making an excuse to visit because of her work, SC watched Nic for a few days before finally speaking to her and the two bonded again, even if SC was supicious of the girls' boyfriend. SC left the country and returned to meet Nic again, just as Nic got a warning from her brother Chase Bauer that he was in trouble and, grudgingly, but knowing she cared for Chase, agreed to fly Nic back to Hogsmeade on her flying motorbike, which allowed them to get there quickly enough to fight off the Cloaked Stranger (also known as Jack Callaghan's supposedly dead ex Rose Smith) and help Chase. But Rose had also trailed into the grounds of Hogwarts before finding Chase, causing the wards to go up and hence trapping the students inside. These wards had also activated a Globe which SC had designed for a prank before she'd left the school.
Even more grudgingly, having wanted to leave quickly, SC charged into the failing Ministry operation and took control with her knowledge of the complicated wards of Hogwarts. With her help the teams started to work through them at a good pace, but one worker decided to do something without her permission, setting off a trap which would cause the whole Castle to explode in order to protect its secrets. SC was forced to use a very ancient, forgotten practice to help stop it, a Dark Runes ritual she'd managed to decipher from old texts she'd received from a team in Turkey. She managed saved the school with seconds to spare but at the sake of herself. Now, while she is much more powerful than before, her magic was tainted - if she was angry, a simple stunner could kill - it was the magical equivalent of drinking unicorn's blood, she could never escape. She also suffered major burns from the ritual itself, having had to channel lightning for it, and was forced to stay in St Mungo's for the night, but she returned back to the school in the morning, even when she was clearly struggling, determined to see the task through now that she's removed all the dangers from the wards. Storming in with her hood up, and scaring the school half to death, SC would spend time both Jack Callaghan and cousin Jacob MacLeish before leaving again.
In May 2009, a small surprise delivered itself to the ARKITEKT base in London - Lisa Lestrange-Black, travelling accidentally from the future and pleading for help to get home, something she'd been told to do by SC's older self. Eventually believing this unbelievable tale, SC sent Lisa to Hogwarts to go by the alias 'Lisa Brown' while she worked on the necklace that brought Lisa here. Eventually, a breakthrough took place after eight or so months of working on the project and she was able to successfully send Lisa home.
During this time, however, SC collapsed in her office and died from a blood clot that had developed after a blow to the head. During this time she saw the light, as it were, before delving into a coma for several weeks and feels that being allowed to come back from death was a sign that there is more she needs to do and that she was given a second chance to put things right. As such, she is now (slightly) more tolerant of people, enough that she can form the odd friend at least, and makes sure she sees the few people she cares about as much as she can, such as Jack (much to the distaste of George Bauer). Also during this time she received a letter from old friend Anyamarie Valdez, revealing to SC that the reason she couldn't kill SC's cousin Jacob when she had the chance was because she loved her). This took SC back and she was determined to find answers to this, how it started and played out, despite Anya being her enemy. The two met again when SC accidentally stumbled across Anya when going to investigate signs of a Wizard in an entirely Muggle area. SC left feeling as if she'd confronted her issues and feels ready to move on from her past troubles - she is unaware that her visit helped contribute to Anya's untimely demise.
Personality
Edit
Before the kidnapping
Edit
A keen prankster, SC had a very light-hearted but dedicated attitude. She worked hard, she was fair to all those she encountered on her Prefect patrols and basically loved life, ignorant of most of the bad things going on outside the school. You were pretty much set to be pranked in some shape or form if you attended school with her, although most people didn't seem to mind since everyone was involved a lot of the time - when she targetted someone specifically, it was usually for a good reason. Most of the time, anyone who bullied people or had a stuck-up Pureblood attitude would be on this list, as well as Professor Severus Snape, who took personal offence and gave her most of her hundreds of detentions. She would respond by simply taking it with a smile, which seemed to get her even more.
She was also very easy to trust others and was always friendly, making her a perfect barmaid at Chase's Place, where she spent some rather tipsy nights trying to drown out Angelina Black's infamous versions of Dolly Parton's 9 to 5.
Essentially, she was a friend to all, trusted all and never saw the worst in anyone.
After the kidnapping
Edit
Despite everyone expecting SC to easily slip back into her previous personality, it was clear that the betrayal of her partner in crime had had a serious effect on her. Not only had she been driven mad, but she was reserved, quiet, vulnerable and dazed by the fact that she had, despite under the influence of poison, killed several Death Eaters to escape. She felt as if no-one understood her, was told to just get on with life and she was stuck in a rut.
Hence, despite loving the wizarding world, she took the drastic step of deciding she was going to leave for good and was firmly set on it. She felt that no-one could be trusted, not even her friends, and was constantly on the lookout for lies and deceit. She was seeing things and suffering nightmares, as well as being inflicted by a terrible stammer (the poison didn't leave her system for several months) and hated everyone staring at her as if she was mental.
She decided she would do one last good night at Chase's before she went - which resulted in finding out about Angelina Black's dark mark, which destroyed all her trust in people and she left instantly, before joining ARKITEKT.
The time she spent away from Hogwarts allowed her to get a control of her life and her sanity, and she slowly opened herself up to those she knew she could trust - Jack Callaghan, Jacob MacLeish and Nic Moony. However, she will never be in any similar to how she was before.
She rarely jokes and rarely smiles and is known for being tough and violent if needs be, but in proportion to the event. Her colleagues respect her but fear her power, which she feels is quite right to do. It would take a hell of a person to even have a chance of being trusted now but she feels that is it better this way and that she is a lot better than she was before, even if, no doubt, her friends would disagree.
After the 'death'
Edit
Much the same as before, however, she is able to take a step back from her serious self and operate somewhat in social situations, able to smile and laugh freely (despite still being hyper aware of her surroundings). Very aware that she was been given a second chance, she is more tolerant than before and wants to try and trust someone some day. She also found that her hatred of Anyamarie Valdez has dissolved into pity and curiosity and she was therefore determined to find answers about Anya's love for her. She ran into Anya by accident once again and the two argued and dealt with their issues. She feels a lot lighter than before and seems to have gotten over a lot of her issues - although her wariness will never fade, she's a lot more open to trying things once again.

ARKITEKT
Edit
ARKITEKT is an elite, top-secret military operation that operates on a world-wide scale. It is known to Governments both Muggle and Magical (who lack any jurisdiction over it) and top officials, but as of yet is unknown to the public at large. It is both a magical and muggle operation which tackles issues that the normal means of enforcement can't handle, for example, taking down Dark Wizards, breaking through complicated wards and so forth. They are known for swift, successful operations and are very much admired by those they deal with.
It has bases on every continent in the world. In Europe, this is in London, England, where SC first went to be interviewed for a simple military job, with her mother having known one of the Seargeants. When she easily breezed through the first tasks and defeated the base's best dueller with simple pranks, she was appointed to the post of Commander, making her the youngest of five. These Commanders answer only to their Senior Commanders (of which there are two) and the Chief Commander, who runs the entire project. Commanders have pretty much a free reign on where they go and what tasks they can choose from to particpate in (as put forward by their superiors) and can be resented by the troops on the ground who have already been there, but the issues are quickly dealt with.
A job in the project requires, at the very least, a high recommendation from current Army bases and Auror programmes, with most 'grunts' having at least seven years experience - few exceptions are made unless the person shows exceptional talent and/or skill.
Big plots

The kidnapping
Edit
On the Christmas Holidays of her seventh year at Hogwarts, SC was kidnapped from the area of her home by Death Eaters. She had just stepped outside the protections to help friend Anyamarie Valdez, who had escaped her family home but had Death Eaters following her - their subsequent arrival led to their recapture. However, SC was placed into a room with Anya's old friend Cathandra, who told her about Anya's former Death Eater ideals and how bad she had been at her old school, before coming to Hogwarts. This combined with the kidnapping led to SC's (at first skeptical and then disbelieving) belief that her friend had helped to kidnapped her.
This was not at all helped by the potion Anya then had to give her friend. This potion was meant to torture someone mentally, but make them forget about it after (not that her father was aware of this when he'd ordered a torture to take place). However, Anya forgot that SC was highly allergic to one of the ingredients, powdered asphodel, and started to suffer a severe allergic reaction, remembering the awful torture and starting to react violently. Refusing any help from her so-called friend, the Death Eaters left the room and SC managed, somehow, to escape, still suffering the effects of the potion and being driven half-mad by it, seeing things that weren't really there and the likes. Getting Cathandra, the two made a quick exit, SC killing a large group of Death Eaters to help them do this. Eventually, they made it out, met by Jack Callaghan and Angelina Black who had managed to uncover where she was hidden having been led there by Anya (who had fled the mansion) and they made their exit just as SC passed out.
SC's return to Hogwarts, after being plastered over the Daily Prophet upon her disappearance, was greeted with a fresh batch of headlines, upset that Anya couldn't be prosecuted because SC had been poisoned and her testimony wasn't considered credible. People expected her to simply be her old self, easily trusting - the return to Anya to Hogwarts (although she was moved to Slytherin for her own safety) didn't help and SC couldn't deal with it,, being mad still from the potion and trying to deal with the guilt and horror of having killed Death Eaters. The revelation that her old friends Angelina Black and Xavier Lestrange had the mark would be the last straw and she would eventually leave Hogwarts before taking her NEWTS. She would take these at the Ministry instead at her parent's urgings, and recieve the highest marks in Charms and Ancient Runes for a decade. She would eventually think of the poisoning as allowing her onto a new level of intelligence but would never be thankful for it.
The Globe
Edit
The Globe started off as a prank she was going to time-lock, to occur after she had left the school. The idea of it was to create several new rooms around the Great Hall for use for a short period of time, such as a ski slope, a lodge, games rooms etc. The idea came to her in her fifth year and was personal project which would eventually involve at least a year and a half of in-depth study of the wards and protections on Hogwarts to allow it to be done. However, she didn't assume any protection wards would come up while the Globe was laced into the wards. This protection was brought up when the Cloaked Stranger wandered onto the Grounds of Hogwarts, trapping all the students inside the Great Hall.
Having flown over to Hogsmeade to help protect Chase Bauer from the Cloaked Stranger, SC finally learnt of the ailing Ministry operation, which at that point had gone two or so weeks without any luck, success or even progress. She stormed in and took control, however, one worker decided to do something without her permission (something which SC had expressly forbidden due to the number of traps the Founders had laced into the wards), setting off a trap which would cause the whole Castle to explode in order to protect itself.
For once stuck on what to do, SC was forced to use a very ancient, forgotten practice to help stop it occuring, a Dark Runes ritual she'd managed to decipher from old texts she'd received from a team in Turkey. She managed saved the school with seconds to spare but at the sake of herself, as the lightning she had to channel through the ritual helped to cause a large explosion, badly beating her up and making her look like, in her tems, 'as if she'd just crawled straight out of hell'. Managing to stagger back to the control tent, pells of skin hanging off her face and looking bloody and battered, SC just about held onto her anger before letting everyone leave, telling them her old friend Nic Moony would be in charge and that it would be simple now that the trap had disactivated the traps, ones she would later put back up.
However, the ritual meant used means that she is now more powerful than before and her magic is tainted - if she was angry, a simple stunner could kill - it was the magical equivalent of drinking unicorn's blood, she will never escape, although we learn from Lisa Lestrange-Black (aka Lisa Brown) that SC would later be able to put some kind of blocker on herself, to help stop this - she currently has a small one in place, but can have trouble controlling it so far. Having been able to use some wandless magic before in small amounts, she has found this potential has increased, but the colours of the spells she seems to do seem tainted and dirtied, possibly because of the ritual.
